About E. C. Manning
E.C. Manning Park is located in the heart of the Cascade Mountains, within a three-hour drive of both the Lower Mainland and the Okanagan. There are 16 backcountry campgrounds in E.C. Manning Park, all with a variety of amenities. Backcountry Reservations are required in peak summer season at Buckhorn, Kicking Horse and Frosty Creek campgrounds. All other backcountry campgrounds require backcountry registration year-round.
Getting There
Bisected by Hwy 3, the park stretches for 58 km from portal to portal. The western portal, marked by the carving of a marmot, is 26 km east of Hope and the eastern portal, marked by a carving of a bear, is 52 km west of Princeton. The core area of the park is located 68 km east of Hope and 68 km west of Princeton.
