Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Effective date: April 2, 2026

Welcome to FindMySite.ca, operated by 14399064 Canada Inc. (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”). By accessing or using this website and any associated services, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

FindMySite.ca is a paid software tool (SaaS) that monitors BC Parks campsite availability and sends SMS or email notifications when campsites matching your alert criteria become available due to cancellations.

We charge a minimal fee for access to the platform and its features only. We do not sell reservations, guaranteed access, or priority booking. The Service is a notification tool only — we do not hold reservations or interact with BC Parks on your behalf.

2. No Affiliation with Government or BC Parks

FindMySite.ca is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with BC Parks or any municipal, provincial, or federal government agency. We:

  • Do not represent any government authority
  • Do not manage or control campground bookings
  • Do not influence availability, pricing, or park access

All official reservations, rules, and park information must be confirmed through the appropriate government-operated websites.

3. Informational Use Only

All content, recommendations, and data provided through the Service are for general informational purposes only. We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy or completeness of information
  • Real-time availability of campsites
  • Suitability of any recommendation for your specific needs

4. No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide legal, financial, travel, safety, or professional advice of any kind. Users should verify all information independently and consult appropriate professionals where necessary.

5. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • One account per person. Automated or bulk account creation is prohibited.

6. Alerts & Payments

  • Each campsite alert costs $1.00 CAD, payable at the time of creation via Stripe.
  • An alert monitors a specific park and date range for campsite availability.
  • Once activated, an alert remains active until a match is found, the end date passes, or you cancel it.
  • Browsing parks and viewing availability data is free and does not require an account.
  • All fees are charged for access to the platform and its tools only.
  • Fees do not guarantee results or successful bookings.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

7. Use at Your Own Risk

Your use of FindMySite.ca is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for:

  • Decisions made based on the platform
  • Booking actions taken
  • Compliance with park rules and regulations

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit alerts or notifications.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  • Dissatisfaction with results or outcomes
  • Technical issues outside of our direct control
  • Misunderstanding of the Service's purpose or capabilities

In rare cases where a verified technical issue on our end prevents access to the Service, we may review the situation at our sole discretion.

10. Acknowledgement at Purchase

By completing a purchase, you explicitly confirm that:

  • You understand the Service is a tool only and does not guarantee results.
  • You accept this no refunds policy in full.
  • You waive any right to request a refund, chargeback, or payment dispute on the basis of dissatisfaction or unmet expectations.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after agreeing to these terms may be considered a violation of this agreement. We reserve the right to:

  • Permanently suspend or terminate access to the Service.
  • Provide these Terms as evidence to payment processors in response to disputes.
